I would like to welcome you to the best district in Southeast Texas. Hardin-Jefferson ISD is a district of 2,750 students across four campuses. Our district consists of the communities of Sour Lake, China, Nome, Bevil Oaks, Cheek, Pine Ridge, Pinewood and Westbury.
I have been in education since 1994 and in administration since 2002 and a superintendent since 2013. Having grown up in a house where my parents worked in the public school system, I have known the value of a public school education my entire life. I am proud of the quality of education provided at HJISD. Our staff and students are truly the best!
